A life told through music.

Making stories through music, imagining new possibilities through sound.

Seo El is a singer-songwriter and music producer who has developed his own stories through songs and music.

After preparing to pursue music following the MBC Riverside Song Festival in 1999, he began his musical career in April 2003 with a performance at The London Korean Festival 2003 — Straight From The Seoul, hosted by KACC in London. That same year, he released his debut album, 2 Yrs for the New Day, contributing lyrics and composition while introducing his own musical identity.

Since founding NCP (Nation Contents Production) in 2008, Seo El has continued producing music and creative content, expanding beyond performance into songwriting, composition, arrangement, and music production.

For Seo El, music is more than expressing emotion through his own voice. It is the process of understanding the story and feeling within a song, then bringing them to life through the right melody, sound, instrumentation, and vocal character.

This approach continues to expand the way he sees music. Sometimes he performs the song himself; at other times, he explores its possibilities through different voices and forms of expression. What matters is not only who sings, but finding the most fitting way to convey the emotion and story the music is meant to express.

From singer to singer-songwriter, and to a producer who shapes and completes the music.

Seo El does not remain within a single role or mode of expression. Guided by his own creative vision, he explores different genres, sounds, voices, and approaches to making music.

Built on years of creative work, his music continues to expand toward sounds and stories yet to be discovered.
